TruPing communicates with the tools every mobile phone user already has and only requires the ability to press one button, and the ability to either speak a keyword or tap short (as few as one digit) strings of numbers on their keypad.

Meet the Team
Steven Van Praagh, Founder
Steven was the founding partner of The Growth Cycle, LLC in 2001, an early Web 2.0 application development company specializing in Ruby on Rails and e-commerce development. Steven was also founder of PrintingResponsibly.com, established in 2004, as an early mover in Green Business services. Using his wide range of skills, Steven has built sold two e-commerce businesses using designed, built and owned SaaS model web applications. Steven spent fifteen years in the marketing communications industry. His experience includes Sales and Marketing with Canon in their graphic systems division, The Colad Group as a marketing solutions company and founder of the commercial packaging division of LP Thebault, a $100M commercial printing and packaging company. Steven previously built and sold PrintPromotion.com, hailed as an early mover in the Web 2.0 platform and one of the first e-commerce applications using the now mainstream programming framework, Ruby on Rails. Steven's significant experience as a marketing communications specialist offers further depth of experience to the TruPing team.
Angela Ciccotti, Co-Founder
Angela is a senior executive with 30 years of broad leadership experience including domestic and international experience with Clear Channel Communications and Time Warner Inc. divisions. Angela was head of new business development for Clear Channel Outdoor, the $1 billion division of the NYSE global advertising and media company. Angela brings a background of significant multi-industry senior-management experience in marketing and business development. Her expansive experience in both product and service companies within large established and mid-size companies, start-ups and turnarounds provides expertise in marketing, product development and implementation. Angela’s business acumen, customer focus, and entrepreneurial spirit were nurtured, as she grew up working in the family business. Angela holds an MBA degree from George Washington University and a B.A. degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida.
David Dinin, Advisor and Founding member
David Dinin is a senior executive with extensive U.S. and international management experience and forty years’ proven ability to manage products, technology, manufacturing, engineering human resources and services. David co-founded and is now a Partner of Enable Capital, a Wall Street-based company focused on secured financing. In addition he is President and CEO of Enable Advisors a technology development and consulting company. He was President and CEO of Robocom Systems, NASDAQ-based software company with a leading position in the automation of logistics and supply chain solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Among his other leadership positions, David was the President and of Linotype Corporation where he was responsible for product development of over 100 new products including the introduction of the worlds first Adobe PostScript based pre-press systems as well as manufacturing, logistics and revenue growth from $30 to over $300 million. David’s education includes: Advanced Management Seminars, finance and accounting, Babson College; Graduate courses, New York University, Graduate School of Business, and a B.A., Liberal Arts, Hofstra University.
Spencer Bartels, Head of Sales and Marketing, and Founding partner
Spencer has consulted major brands in the out-of-home advertising industry with Kubin Nicholson, music entertainment, 3D and photographic industries with M3, and as an entrepreneur for the past 5 years. While spending the prior 10 years selling advertising services, Spencer has cultivated relationships at the CEO level of Fortune 500 companies, including major retailers, fashion brands, cosmetic brands, media buying groups, ad agencies and the music industry. Having helped shape the competitive strategies for several corporations in heavily competitive markets, Spencer has achieved budgets and marketing goals by building long-lasting relationships with brand-name companies.
